Cryptorefills now accepts ETH and USDG on Robinhood Chain, Robinhood's Ethereum Layer 2, across the full catalog: gift cards, mobile top-ups, eSIMs, flights and hotel bookings.
Robinhood Chain processed 793.7 million transactions in its first quarter on mainnet, most of them tied to tokenized stock trading, which makes it one of the busiest new Layer 2s of 2026.
Step 1. Select ETH or USDG at checkout.
Step 2. Choose Robinhood Chain as the network.
Step 3. Scan the QR code, or copy the payment address and exact amount into your Robinhood Chain wallet, then confirm the transaction.
Paying with USDG? Check that the token in your wallet uses contract 0x5fc5360D0400a0Fd4f2af552ADD042D716F1d168 before sending.
Robinhood Chain is a permissionless Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum Orbit. It settles to Ethereum, uses ETH for gas and was designed for tokenized real-world assets, which is why most early activity comes from Stock Tokens traded through the self-custodial Robinhood Wallet in more than 120 countries.
USDG is the Global Dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos and redeemable 1:1 for US dollars. For anyone holding dollar value on Robinhood Chain, it is the simpler way to pay, since the order total stays fixed regardless of ETH price moves.
For checkout, what matters is where your funds sit. ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain, held in Robinhood Wallet or any EVM wallet with the network added, pays directly. Balances in a Robinhood brokerage account need to be moved to a Robinhood Chain wallet first. Stock Tokens sit outside what checkout accepts, so swap them to ETH or USDG before paying.
Robinhood covered gas for Robinhood Wallet transactions for the first 90 days after mainnet. That subsidy ended on September 29, 2026. Network fees are paid in ETH on every payment, USDG included, so keep a small amount of ETH in the wallet alongside the order total.
