My gift card code isn't working

If a code is rejected, flagged invalid, or shows as already used, work through these checks first. Most issues are region or entry related.

Quick checklist

• Right region? Many cards only work in the country they were bought for. A US card won't work on a UK store. Using a VPN to cross regions usually fails.
• Entered correctly? Type or paste the code exactly as shown, with no extra spaces, and check easily confused characters.
• Right place? Redeem on the brand's official page, not at general checkout.

Steps for the top brands

• Steam: redeem at store.steampowered.com/account/redeemwalletcode. The card currency must match your account.
• Google Play: redeem at play.google.com/redeem and make sure the card matches your account's country.
• PlayStation: sign in to a PSN account in the card's region, then go to "Redeem Codes".
• PUBG: some regions redeem through Midasbuy. [VERIFY: confirm canonical Midasbuy link]
