Region or country error when redeeming

A region or country error means the gift card was issued for a different country than the account you're trying to use it on.

Why it happens

Most gift cards are locked to the country or region they were bought for. The brand checks the card's region against your account at redemption. Using a VPN to appear in another country usually doesn't work and can flag your account.

What to do

Check the region your card was issued for and make sure it matches the country of the account where you're redeeming it. If they don't match, the card generally can't be used, and region-locked cards can't be refunded once delivered.
