My eSIM isn't connecting

If your eSIM won't connect, work through these checks. Most problems are setup related.

Check your setup

  • QR scanned and line added? Go to Settings, then Mobile Data, and confirm the eSIM appears as a line.
  • Roaming on for the eSIM? Select the eSIM line and turn on data roaming for it. This is required for the plan to work.
  • In your destination? Your plan activates when you first connect in the destination country, not when you install it. It won't show data before you arrive.
  • Wi-Fi during setup? Make sure you were on Wi-Fi or mobile data when installing the eSIM.

Still not connecting?

Connection issues can sometimes be on the network's side and depend on local coverage. If you've checked the steps above and still have no data, contact us through the help page with your order ID so we can look into it.
