How eSIM works
An eSIM is a digital SIM card built into your phone. Instead of buying a physical SIM at your destination, you download a data plan before you travel, scan a QR code, and connect the moment you land.
Buying and installing
- Select your destination and a data plan, then pay with crypto. Cryptorefills accepts 20+ coins for eSIM, with no KYC and instant delivery.
- You receive a QR code by email and on your order confirmation page.
- On your phone, go to Settings, then Mobile Data, then Add eSIM, and scan the QR code. On mobile you can tap the QR code directly to open it without a second device.
- Tap Allow, then enable roaming for the new eSIM.
Good to know
- Coverage: 180+ countries and territories.
- When it starts: your plan activates when you first connect in your destination, not when you install it. You have up to 365 days from purchase to activate.
- Keep your number: eSIMs are data-only, so your existing SIM stays active for calls, texts, and apps like WhatsApp and iMessage.
- Devices: most recent iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and many other Android models. Check your device with the compatibility tool on the eSIM page before buying.
