Why gift cards are region-specific

Some gift cards work globally, but many only work in the country or region they were issued for. This is set by the brand, not by Cryptorefills.

What this means in practice

A US Amazon gift card can only be redeemed on Amazon.com, not on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de. The same applies to most gaming and streaming cards. Using a card outside its issuing country, including through a VPN, usually fails and isn't eligible for support or a refund.

Before you buy

Check the country flag and the product description on the product page, and make sure you select the region that matches the account where you'll redeem the card. Region-locked cards can't be refunded or replaced once they've been delivered to your email.
